Have you ever wanted to change a loadable family type using Dynamo? OF COURSE... You CANT just use type selector node... Dynamo does not have one
So how do you change the loadable family type? Its easy but not that intuitive.
Follow the graph below and you will be an expert at it in no time.

Will this also allow us to change all types that are in groups? Or will dynamo respect Revit's regular behaviour in this regard?
Good tip , does that work with nested families?
By the way I think that the first time I saw this method used in Dynamo was by Andreas Dieckmann, about two years ago.
Can you use this method to create a new type?
